Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source ProcurementAmerican River Watershed Institute4135 Eagles Nest Auburn, CA 95603 The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS) in Portland Oregon intends to award a contract for the acquisition of services to conduct a symposium. This is the second symposium dedicated to the research of levee vegetation and the services and format must duplicate the initial symposium. Contractors must be fully capable of handling the financial aspects of conducting a large multi-agency symposium. This is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements can submit related documentation. A determination not to compete the described acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Federal Government. If no written responses are received at least five (5) days after the publication of this notice, the contract will be awarded without further notice.
