Pre-Solicitation Notice for notice of intent to award a sole source contract. This is not a solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a sole source contract for a five (5) year base Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) fixed priced contract with the Washington University in Saint Louis (WUSTL), One Brookings Dr., Saint Louis, MO 63130-4862 to provide unique specialized training programs and mentoring to develop research capacity in such areas as dissemination and implementation science (known as the PRC or MeDIT program), behavioral health care and mental health research (known as the NIMH Mentoring Networks), the High IRI program services to VA Fellows for the VA Boston Health Care System, Research Department. This requirement is to provide experiential learning, didactic training, faculty mentoring, and support for grant writing. WUSTL is the only entity with these unique specific trainings in place for VA Fellows. The VA has used these services in the past. The continuity for VA Fellows and staff to continue with similar training from unique qualified experts are critical to the VA mission and improving the quality of health care for veterans. WUSTL is the only vendor that can provide these specialized training services. Since the intent is to procure this on a sole source basis, no solicitation will be posted to FedBizOps (FBO).
