WASC ACCREDITATION

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Reference: Solicitation Number N00244-23-Q-0177. Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center San Diego (FLCSD) intends to award a firm fixed price contract under the authority of FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one source being available to meet the Government needs, to: WASC Senior College and university Commission 985 Atlantic Ave Ste 100, Alameda, CA 94501 USA The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 611310; the business size standard is 34.5 (millions of dollars). The objective of this sole source award is to issue a Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) contract for (WASC) Senior College and university Commission annual membership to fulfill NAVAL POST GRADUATE SCHOOL annual academic Accreditation process to remain certified as a university and teaching institution. Only Western Association of Schools and Colleges is able to provide accreditation service for WASC universities. No other vendor is permitted to support this accreditation requirement standard. Without the accreditation, NAVAL POST GRADUATE SCHOOL would not meet the standards required for university teaching, and be unable to provide ongoing educational support, development of the warfighter through teaching and training, or meet essential required mission objectives for NAVAL POST GRADUATE SCHOOL. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for the requirement. Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement that includes management and technical data and cost information, in sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the ability to provide the WASC Accreditation. POP: July 01, 2023 - June 30 2024 Capability statements shall not exceed 10 (8.5 x 11 inch) pages using a font size no smaller than 10-point. All capability statements received by the due date of this notice will be considered by the Government. A request for documentation or additional information or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed with a sole source purchase order.
