Page 2 of 2 NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. This is a notice of intent to solicit and award a sole source contract under statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1), set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulations 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Orlando VA Healthcare System, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 8, 13800 Veterans Way, Orlando, Florida, 32827, intends to award a firm-fixed price sole source contract for Online Education System to Medbridge, 1633 Westlake Ave. N, Suite #200, Seattle WA 98109, United States. This procurement is for a Sole Source Justification in accordance with FAR 13.501(a), where acquisition conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures are exempt from the requirements of FAR Part 6, but still require a justification using the format of FAR 6.303-2. The NAICS code for this procurement is 611710 and the Small Business Administration Size Standard is $16.5M. This procurement is also being conducted in accordance with procedures in FAR subpart 13.5 under the authority for other than full and open competition FAR 13.106-1(b) soliciting from a single source. Responses must be received by 08/17/2021, by 16:30 PM., Eastern Standard Time. Responses should be submitted electronically to Fernando Defillo, contact@example.gov. This notice of intent to sole source is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirements may submit a quotation with manufacturer cut sheets, which may be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement bases upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of government.
