Invitation for Bid (IFB) UDOT- Big Cottonwood Canyon Rock Scaling project Solicitation # UDOT260280CN This Invitation for Bids "IFB" is issued in accordance with State of Utah Procurement Code and the Utah Administrative Code. If any provision of this IFB conflicts with the Utah Procurement Code or the Utah Administrative Code, then Utah Procurement Code and then Utah Administrative Code will take precedence.
The purpose of this IFB is to enter into a contract with the lowest responsive and responsible bidder to provide construction services related to rock scaling at two sites along SR-190 in Big Cottonwood Canyon.
This contract will result in one contract award to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
Project must be completed by June 31th, 2026 .
Mandatory Site visit:
Date/Time: Thursday May 28th 2026 at 1:00 pm.
Location: Meet at SR-190 MP 8.
The meeting will begin promptly at 1:00 pm and if you are late you may be asked to not participate in the site visit and not allowed to submit a bid.
Issuing Procurement Unit, Conducting Procurement Unit, and Solicitation Number
The UDOT Procurement Services Division is the issuing procurement unit and Region 2 is the conducting procurement unit for this IFB (referred to as “the State”). The reference number for this IFB is Solicitation #UDOT. This solicitation number must be referred to on all bids, correspondence, and documentation submitted to the State relating to this IFB.
The documents included within this solicitation are intended to provide interested bidders with sufficient information to enable the bidder to determine if they can provide as per the outlined requirements.
Bidders must provide sufficient documentation/information to demonstrate compliance with the stated specifications/requirements.
