Full Description

As published in Special Notice of February 1, 2006, title as above, the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command initiated one-on-one meetings with industry to promote early exchanges of information in support of Universal Cryptographic Device concept refinement efforts. These one-on-one meetings, concluding in February 2006, resulted in numerous questions/comments on the Universal Crypographic Device draft specificiation -- GAMMA. The purpose of this Special Notice is to publish industry's non-proprietary questions/comments and related government responses. Within the next 120 days, the government intends to publish the Universal Crypographic Device draft specificiation -- DELTA as part of a formal Request for Information and invitation to participate in an Industry Working Group, the focus of which will be to further refine requirements documentation in preparation for a draft Request for Proposal in the June 2007 timeframe.
