University of Florida, College of Nursing

The University of Florida Office of Real Estate has issued solicitation ITN2026-105 to secure a leased facility for the operations of the University and its College of Nursing. The University seeks a contiguous space of 20,000 to 25,000 rentable square feet, preferably within Alachua County, to support teaching, lab simulations, and administrative functions. The required layout must include a reception area, 10 standard offices, 10 classrooms, 2 to 3 laboratories, a collaborative workspace for 10 to 12 people, and a medium conference room. Desired occupancy is set for the fourth quarter of 2026, with a preferred initial five year lease term and two optional two year renewal periods. Proposals are due by October 2, 2026, and must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the Office of Real Estate. Evaluation will be based on the landlord's financial strength, management expertise, past performance, and the ability to meet the university's specific spatial and financial needs. The university strongly prefers the use of its standard lease agreement template and requires that the landlord provide a turnkey improvement package. Funding for the lease is contingent upon annual appropriations from the Florida Department of State or grant allotments. Vendors must certify they are not on any discriminatory vendor lists and have not had a federal contract terminated for default within the last three years.
