The City of Council Bluffs, Iowa (City), is requesting bids for Upfitting Police Cruisers from qualified and insured companies, herein called Bidder/Supplier/Contractor. All necessary personnel, supervision, materials and equipment to be provided by the Bidder and prices included in the bid should reflect the same.   This is an all-or-none bid and will be awarded to one Bidder. The contract is valid for the upfit of four (4) Tahoes and two (2) K-9 Silverados.    The work under this bid will be administered and overseen by an authorized designee of the Fleet Maintenance Division.     The price quote on the bid will become the price extended to the City of Council Bluffs for the contract period.   
All work must be completed in the timeframe detailed in the Specifications document.      BID BOND - In accordance with City ordinance, each bid in excess of $40,000 must be accompanied by cashier’s check or bid bond payable to the City of Council Bluffs, Iowa, for a sum not less than 5% of the total amount of the bid. Copies of bid bonds or cashier's checks are to be uploaded in the assigned requested attachments area. Cashier's check shall clearly state cashier's check on it. Letters of credit and company or personal checks are not acceptable substitutes for a bid bond and would be cause for rejection of bid. **Please double check your math to make sure your 5% bid bond amount is accurate. Inaccurate amounts will be cause for rejection of bid.
