The United States Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Centers, IBCT - Contracts & Procurement Branch 2, Oakland, CA anticipates awarding SOLE SOURCE procurement to Rolls-Royce Marine Inc. the following supplies(s): 1. NSN 5330-01-394-5410, Seal Assy, Shaft, Spring Loaded, P/N P-2-5-8 Qty. 2 Rolls-Royce Marine Inc. is the original manufacturer of the referenced items and maintains the proprietary rights which make them the sole source. The OEM has limited the availability of propriety information. Required Delivery Date: March 31, 2016 Vendor will provide all labor and parts listed in the Schedule. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No solicitation will be issued, however all responses received on/before 0800 AM PST 14 Dec 2015 will be reviewed by the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within seven days after date of this publication/synopsis will be considered by the Government. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
