AI Contract Overview
The solicitation requires all offerors to hold an active U.S. Navy MSRA/ABR Agreement specifically for the Japan Region, and those without one must provide a copy of their approved and current agreement as a Prime Contractor with their proposal. Contractors not based in Japan must submit clear documentation proving compliance with DFARS 252.225-7042, demonstrating their legal authority to operate and do business in Japan; failure to do so disqualifies them from award. The contract is for the repair of the No.4 SSDG Component aboard the USS TRIPOLI (LHA-7), with performance required in Sasebo, Nagasaki, Japan. The solicitation is issued by the Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center Yokosuka, with proposals due by July 21, 2026, and is exclusively available to entities authorized to conduct business within Japan.
