Amendment 0002 is issued to make the following changes:
- Update Section A.1, Minimum Aircraft Requirement to reference Anchorage/Fairbanks and change the fuel stops from one to two.
- Update Paragraph B.1.1.2 to reference the primary destinations as Anchorage and Fairbanks.
- Add Paragraph B.1.1.3 to add optional secondary locations.
- Update Exhibit 8 and E-3 to reference Anchorage/Fairbanks and change the fuel stops from one to two.

Amendment 0001 provides questions received in response to this solicitation and the Governments response; removes FAR Clause 52.219-14; adds paragraph D4.4.1 under Section D; and revises paragraph D6, Evaluation Commercial Items (52.212-2). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.

Solicitation Number 140D0426Q0468 is hereby issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) for commercial aviation services in support of the U.S. Wildland Fire Service (USWFS) for the transportation of personnel, goods, and cargo between the Contiguous U.S. (Lower 48) and Alaska, with the Contractors¿ primary base of operations located in Boise, Idaho.

This requirement is being issued by the United States Department of the Interior (DOI), Interior Business Center (IBC), Acquisition Services Directorate (AQD) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12.

This acquisition provides full and open competition, it is not set-aside for small business concerns. The solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov.
