The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN 22), VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System is currently seeking small businesses who are able to provide commercial air ambulance services which include ground transportation, labor, supplies, supervision and materials, twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week including all Federal holidays. Vendor shall have all the certifications, licenses and permits required to provide the service that meet all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. The government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed-price contract for one base-year with the Government's option to exercise four, one-year option periods. This procurement is set-aside for small businesses. The applicable North American Industry Classification System Code for this procurement is 621910. To be considered a small business under this code the SBA size standard shall not exceed $7.0 million. The solicitation shall be available for issue on March 8, 2011.
