Full Description

The VA Montana Healthcare System has a requirement for 24 hours and 7 days a week ambulance service consisting of basic life support, advance life support and stretcher transportation services for beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Montana Healthcare System at Fort Harrison, Montana. This shall include urgent or emergency requirements and non-emergency requirements. The contractor shall furnish the personnel, materials, services and facilities necessary to provide the required services in addition to being fully licensed and insured. All vehicles proposed for use under the contract shall meet the minimum vehicle requirements as mandated by Federal Specifications. Contractor will continuously meet or exceed all Joint Commission standards. The Governments anticipates awarding this contract for a base and two option years to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. This is a Firm Fixed Price contract and this acquisition is unrestricted for Full and Open Competition, NAICS code: 621910, size standard: $7.0 million. The solicitation will be available to download on FBO on approximately November 12, 2008 with a closing date of 30 days from solicitation issue date. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will also be posted on FBO and offerors are responsible for obtaining any/all amendments issued.
