Vasquez Bridge Project (Notification of Lake or Streambed Alteration, No. EPIMS-RIV-58159-R6)

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMSRIV-58159-R6 with Ramon Vasquez, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code. Located at 17451 Parsons Rd., Riverside, California, the project involves the installation of a 6 to 8 foot wide bridge over an unnamed tributary to Gage Canal. This bridge is designed to create a passageway for cars and equipment to access and clean the property. To maintain the natural flow of the stream, a 3 by 3 foot plastic pipe will be installed. The project is categorically exempt under Class 4 of the California Code of Regulations, title 14, section 15304(f), as it consists of minor alterations that do not require the removal of healthy, mature, or scenic trees. The agreement was signed on October 7, 2025, by Environmental Program Manager Kim Freeburn. Primary administration and oversight are managed by Environmental Scientist Julian Potier of the CDFW Region 6 Inland Deserts office.
