Proposed Conditional Use Permit to construct a new unmanned wireless communications monopole, 165 in height. A five-foot tall lightning rod would extend from the top of the pole. Verizons ground equipment would consist of two equipment cabinets (with space for a third) and a 30 kW emergency backup generator with a 203-gallon diesel fuel tank, all installed on a concrete slab. The site would be secured by a 6 tall chain link fence with brown slats and topped with barbed wire. Fiber-optic cable would be installed underground from Cole Canyon Road. The site would be accessed off the existing private access road (Flag Creek Road), with a new, approximately 300 long all-weather access road with a fire turnaround, covering the remaining distance to the lease area. Three (3) three-foot, three (3) four-foot and three (3) six-foot panel antennas (nine total) would be attached with related equipment including remote radio unit (RRUs), overvoltage protection (OVP) boxes, one (1) microwave antenna and one (1) GPS antenna. The project includes (2) ground mounted radio cabinets with one equipment canopy on a reinforced concrete pad.
