VFA Facility Condition Assessment Software Subscription

The City of Coquitlam intends to enter into a contract with Gordian Group Canada Corporation for the subscription of VFA Facility Maintenance, Hosting, and Survey software services, with the contract period extending until February 14, 2030. The anticipated contract value is approximately $105,880.79 plus taxes. This software is proprietary, and the vendor has unique expertise and experience with it, which is a critical factor for the City’s decision to forego a competitive bidding process. Additionally, using unapproved vendors could void the manufacturer’s warranty, and switching providers would likely increase costs and require additional resources. While the City has not opened the contract to competitive proposals, it invites vendors capable of providing the same product and services to submit their information and justification for consideration in writing before 2:00 pm PST on February 5, 2026.
