The Request for Proposal is for the provision of a modernized Chemical Protective Combat Uniform (CPCU Mk V) to be used for operations. The CPCU is manufactured from a dual-layer system consisting of: (1) an outer laminated layer that provides the oil/water repellency, vapour resistance and breathability, and (2) an inner absorptive layer that provides the chemical protection. The CPCU Mk V consists of three (3) garments including a shirt, pants and a balaclava.
The Requisition on contract (ROC) will be for five (5) years with the option to extend for five (5) additional one (1) year periods. The Bidder must supply and deliver the uniforms as specified in the Individual Requisition on Contract.
