This solicitation, titled "Warehouse Supplies" (RFB-14DPW-1766), issued by the Purchasing Division of the Consolidated City of Indianapolis and Marion County, calls for vendors to submit bids for supplying warehouse-related goods. Bids are due by April 23, 2026, with a strict delivery deadline to the City/County Building in Indianapolis by 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time; however, a brief window between 9:31 and 10:00 a.m. allows bids to be accepted in a separate room. Vendors preferring to submit hard copy bids rather than using the new electronic submission process must download the project documents from the designated portal, compile them into a zip file, and deliver them either by U.S. Mail or in person to the Purchasing Division at 200 E. Washington Street, Room 1522. Bid openings will occur on the same date at 10:00 a.m. in Room 1560 of the City/County Building. The procurement process is governed by detailed agreements that ensure professional and supply standards are met. The Professional Services Agreement highlights responsibilities such as compliance with minority and women business enterprise participation requirements, confidentiality, and independent contractor status. Concurrently, the Sample Supply Agreement provides terms for delivery, acceptance, defect correction, and payment, underscoring the City's rights in cases of vendor default or non-performance. Both agreements together establish the contractual framework, emphasizing timely delivery, conformity to specifications, proper compensation, and the ability to renew or amend contract terms through written agreements, ensuring the City's warehouse supply needs are efficiently and reliably met.
