Waste Collection service for each residential unit (1000 approximately) in the Greater Ridgecrest Area (GRA) that will include pick-up of the following items: Household trash and garbage Building Materials (not to include masonry, bricks and dirt) Appliances (stove, washer, dryer, refrigerator, freezer, air conditioning unit, etc.) Furniture (sofa, chair, table, mattress, etc.) Loose items should be boxed or bagged (paper, etc.) Loose Metal (all) Tree or brush trimmings (cut in 4' lengths) The Greater Ridgecrest Area (GRA) (see attached A - Map of Cleanup Area ) is scheduled for one day of clean up service each year. The recommended date for 2026 is in November. Any additional annual dates will be coordinated with the Housing and Community Development Department directly. The GRA includes eleven subdivisions as follows: Taylor Lake Ridgecrest Oak Village Baskins Crossing Harmony Homes Baskin Heights Martin Terrace Kerry Court Gulf Terrace Rainbow Village Dansville It is recommended that the waste collection company have 4-6 rear loading service vehicles scheduled for the Waste Collection Event. It is required that the waste collection company have sufficient trucks and manpower to fully cover the Waste Collection Event and provide roll off change out as needed as well as provide a point of contact during the day . It is recommended that the trash removal service company have a front-loading service vehicle for large items such as washers, dryers, sofas, tree stumps, etc. All trash and debris must be picked up and removed on cleanup day. F. Although the number of equipment and kinds of manpower are recommended it is up to the trash removal service company to ensure that an ample supply of equipment and manpower are available to the meet the overall demand and requirements of this Waste Collection Event. The waste collection service company must make allowances for late trash. For instance, if we collect down a certain street and someone places their trash out late, the waste collection service company must go back later that day or possibly on the next business day to pick up late or dumped trash. The waste collection service company workers/supervisor must recheck the roadways/streets to make sure they are left clean after trash removal. The waste collection company will provide disposal tickets for all loads going into Pinellas County Waste-to-Energy (WTE) facility for a "disposal pass through rate" or tipping fee of $ 58.86 per ton. The vendor will invoice the County separately for this expense to be paid in full. Future rates are subject to change, and the vendor will be provided advance notice of the exact fee amount before beginning work. If necessary, the waste collection service company awarded the project will send a representative to a minimum of one pre-cleanup organizational meeting each year. The waste collection company is not required to pick up any hazardous waste items, such as paint, oil, pool chemicals, flammable liquids, batteries, TVs, computers, etc. The waste collection company will have a roll off delivered on the Friday before the designated cleanup date each year to the Pinellas County yard on 119th Street North, Largo 33778 . The waste collection company must schedule a time for the roll off to be delivered to the yard because the yard is gated and locked all day. The roll off needs to be delivered before 4:00 PM.
