Water Distribution Improvements Phase II

Frederick County, Maryland, has issued Invitation for Bid IFB 27-121-CP for Water Distribution Improvements Phase II, designated as Contract No. 421A-W. The project focuses on improving hydraulics along Urbana Pike by connecting an existing 8-inch waterline between Galena Drive and Worthington Boulevard and installing a new 10-inch waterline between New Horizon Way and Technology Way. The scope of work includes earthwork, the installation of ductile iron pipes ranging from 6 to 12 inches, and the placement of a standard fire hydrant. All disturbed areas must be restored with bituminous pavement. The contract requires the delivery of certified as-built drawings in AutoCAD format and a comma-delimited ASCII text file for elevation points.
