Watershed/Wildlife Habitat Improvement

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested. Solicitation AG-52B1-S-14-0005 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), to perform habitat improvement services on the Tell City Ranger District, Hoosier National Forest. The work will be performed in Perry County, IN. The work consists of bush-hogging and grass/forb identification. This acquisition is set-aside for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561730 and the size standard is $7mil. Work will begin September 15, 2014 and be completed by October 31, 2014. BASIS FOR AWARD: a single award will be made to the contractor based on best value to the government. Offerors shall provide both pricing and technical information. Vendors must be registered in SAMS (www.sams.gov) Quotes must include a completed copy of (FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications, Commercial Items, paragraphs (c) through (m). If the Offeror has completed the annual representations and certifications electronically at http://orca.bpn. gov., submit only paragraph (b) from the provisions and a DUNS number. (FAR) 52.212-2 Evaluation, Commercial Items is applicable with the following factors used to evaluate quotes: Price, technical conformity to specifications, and past performance.
