Full Description

The Department of Human Services (DHS) requires the PROVIDER to provide shelter, assessment, counseling, and support services for a child or youth 12 to 17 years old who have been referred by, and are in the custody of DHS, and are in need of a temporary home. The shelter shall be provided in a facility or home that is licensed as a Child Caring Institution. This contract is designed to support the effort to keep the child or youth in their own community and school, lessen the trauma of removal, and ensure return home or an appropriate alternative placement as soon as possible.
