The U.S. Navy, through NAVSUP Weapons System Support Nuclear Reactor Supply Chain Management Directorate, is seeking to establish new Blanket Purchase Agreements for Chemicals and Chemical Analysis Instruments classified under Federal Supply Class 6810 to support the secondary systems of naval nuclear reactors. These materials are critical to maintaining the safety and operational readiness of nuclear-powered vessels, and all acquisitions will be limited to small businesses under a total small business set-aside as defined by FAR 19.5, with the NAICS code 325199 and a size standard of 1250 employees. The current BPA, established in February 2017 and set to expire in February 2022, had a total value of $6.5 million, and the government projects approximately $8 million in delivery orders over the next five years under the new agreements. To ensure maximum competition and continuity of supply, multiple suppliers will be selected through a competitive process initiated by a Request for Information, which potential vendors must review to confirm their ability to meet the stringent technical and quality standards required for nuclear applications. The solicitation number is N00104-27-R-XXXX, posted on July 7, 2026, with responses due by August 6, 2026, and all submissions must align with the government’s intent to maintain an uninterrupted supply chain for these mission-critical materials. Point of contact for inquiries is Trevor Allander, reachable via email or phone provided in the contract metadata.
