Full Description

Under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, this is to notify industry that a Sole Source Fixed Price Contract is anticipated to be awarded in April, 2013 to Xerox Corporation, for maintenance relating to numerous Xerox copiers located in and around the Marfa, TX area. Xerox Corporation will make repairs to correct any malfunctions that may exist, as well as perform preventative maintenance to ensure the copiers are running properly and to prevent future malfunctions. Xerox Corporation is the only vendor, within a reasonable distance, who is capable of providing this maintenance service. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This synopsis does not constitute a solicitation, however all responsible sources that believe they can meet all of the requirements may submit a quote, which shall be considered. Justification is available to be provided upon request.
