Contractor shall provide all labor, euipment and material, other than government furnished material, necessary to remove and construct 230 kV transmission lines in the vicinity of Hoover Dam and Mead Substation. Approximately 5.9 miles of existing 230 kV single circuit lattice facilities will be removed and replaced with 230 kV double circuit steel pole facilities. Approximately 1.9 miles of nes 230 kV single circuit steel pole facilities will be constructed. Overhead optical groundwire will be installed on the new single and double circuit constructionand approximately 1.5 miles on an existing double circuit line. Conduit encased optical cable will be installed at both Hoover and Mead ends. The existing A&N Switchyard will be removed. The A&N Switchyard is a four breaker ring bus in a lattice box construction.
