Full Description

This is a Full and Open Competition acquisition. The acquisition issubject tothe North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 237130with asize standard of $31.0 million. Contractor shall provide all labor,equipmentand material, necessary to replace tow existing breakers, installation ofconcrete foundation, switches and breaker to complete an existing bay, andinstallation of concrete foundation, structural steel, switches, breaker,andbus work to construct a new bay. All work shall be in strict compliancewiththe specifications and drawings. A firm-fixed price contract award iscontemplated with a completion date of April 6, 2009. The projectmagnitude isestimated between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Place of Performance isParkerDam, San Bernadino County, California. The evaluation technique to beutilized for the contemplated award of the issued solicitation isPerformancePrice Tradeoff (PPT), resulting in the Best Value to the Government. UnderPPTprocedures, past performance will be evaluated. It is anticipated thesolicitation package to include specifications and drawings will beavailableat no charge on or about October 10, 2008.
