Department of Energy Southwestern Power Administration Nixa-Hercules-Redfork Towers and Buildings Installation Pre-Solicitation Notice Solicitation # 89503619000014 August 2, 2019 The U.S. Department of Energy, Southwestern Power Administration (Southwestern) intends to issue a construction Request for Proposal (RFP) for installing a new tower and building at Nixa, replacing the tower and building at Hercules, and replacing the communication building and fence at Redfork. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, facilities, materials, and equipment required to complete the project, unless otherwise notified in the specification. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 237130, with a small business size standard of $36.5 million. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204, the magnitude of this project is estimated to be between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The estimated project completion date is September 2021. Contractor registration in the Government’s System for Award Management (SAM) is mandatory in order to be eligible for contract award. Registration may be completed and information regarding the registration process may be obtained at http://www.sam.gov. The anticipated release date of the solicitation package is on or about August 16, 2019, with bids being due on or about October 2, 2019. Once issued, solicitation documents will be available electronically for download at https://www.fedconnect.net. All responsible sources may submit a bid and will be considered by Southwestern.
