YMCA Camp Marston and Rain Tree Ranch Forest Health Project

The YMCA Camp Marston and Rain Tree Ranch Forest Health Project is a proactive fuel reduction initiative managed by the Resource Conservation District of Greater San Diego. The project focuses on increasing wildfire resiliency and ensuring camper safety by removing dead and dying trees affected by the Gold Spotted Oak Borer. Key objectives include the creation of fuel breaks around structures and the reduction of fuel loads along primary and secondary access roads to facilitate safer emergency ingress and egress. This effort is designed to protect life, property, and the environment through the strategic reduction of both live and dead fuel loads within the properties located in California.
