Ian Park

Ian Park serves as a Contract Specialist, providing essential procurement support to ensure the agency's mission requirements are met through strategic acquisitions. In this secondary role, he assists in the administration and execution of contracts, focusing on the regulatory compliance and operational efficiency of the procurement process. The vast majority of the agency's procurement activity is conducted through full and open competition, with no set-aside preferences. A small percentage of the agency's contracting activity is dedicated to Total Small Business Set-Asides under FAR 19.5. The agency's procurement activity is heavily concentrated in high-technology and engineering sectors. The primary focus is on Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences, with additional procurement activity in semiconductor and related device manufacturing, turbine and turbine generator set units manufacturing, industrial process furnace and oven manufacturing, and telecommunications.
