Solicitation No. F14PS01353 Region 3, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to sole source a requirement reference FAR 6.302-1 for one (1) new Oquawka Model 1872V Boat 8 degree V Tunnel Hull 20 boat, Oquawka Model 1872OBV Steel Painted single axle trailer and boat equipped with an installed Yamaha 150HP outboard jet engine F150JA for the Columbia Missouri Fish and Wildlife Conservation Office (Columbia FWCO), Columbia, Missouri. This equipment will be used as experimental electrified push trawl to sample juvenile Asian Carps invasive species in tributary streams and shallow back waters. Oquawka Boats & Fabrication, Inc. offers a Model 1872V boat with progressive rake, 24 deep sides constructed of .125 thick aluminum, 25 transcom to fit 25 shaft motor, 4 square bow and square front diamond plate, diamond tread plate floor, 3/16 thick aluminum bottom which will allow Columbia FWCO employees to safely perform their duties while conducting juvenile Asian Carp sampling assignments. Another critical requirement is the Oquawka Boats and Fabrication, Inc. will electrify the boat with shock box, wiring, switches, etc. which will ensure that all electrofishing work is safely and correctly installed thus benefitting our staff safety during sampling assignments. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336612. This notice of intent is not a request for quote.
