Based upon the responses by selected Supplier(s) to this Request for Proposal (RFP), OUC may enter into one or more contracts for Annual Emergency Distribution, Transmission & Substation Restoration on an as needed basis. OUC is accepting responses from qualified suppliers to provide Annual Emergency Distribution, Transmission & Substation Restoration Services with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in working with a range of both overhead and underground distribution systems up to 35 kV and transmission systems up to 230 kV. These Services may be required before, during, and after an Emergency Event and shall be in accordance with all statutes and rules, including but not limited to Federal Emergency Management Agency (“FEMA”) guidelines. OUC is seeking for suppliers with the right combination of price, qualifications, and experience to ensure that: Annual Emergency Distribution, Transmission & Substation Restoration Services are provided in accordance with FEMA guidelines and built to OUC standards; OUC is able to maximize its use of FEMA and other grant funds; and with limited loss of available FEMA and other grant funds.
