Through this Request for Proposals (RFP), the City of Penticton invites Proposals for the supply of Engineering Services for the underground conversion of power lines along the west laneway of Main St. from Westminster Ave. to Eckhardt Ave. The Scope of Work encompasses all necessary activities to produce a complete design package for the infrastructure upgrade. The Engineering Design Work is expected to begin upon contract award, in March/April 2026, and run until March 2027. The City anticipates that construction work to complete the upgrades will begin within the end of 2027 and last for a duration of 6+ years, following completion of design. The Contract resulting from this RFP will be the City of Penticton’s Professional Services Agreement, as detailed in Part C of this RFP. The City of Penticton reserves the right, at its sole and unfettered discretion, to directly award additional statements of work for Engineering Services to the successful Consultant of this project, in order to support additional phases of this infrastructure upgrade.
