2027 Annual Aggregates

The Colquitt County Board of Commissioners is soliciting sealed bids for the supply and delivery of aggregates, specifically #5 Small Granite Stone, #3 Aggregate Rock, and Type III Rip Rap Rock. The contract will span a one-year period from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027. All submitted pricing must be provided on a per-ton basis and must include hauling costs to the Colquitt County site. Bidders are also required to specify any discounts applicable to county governments and the expected delivery time following the placement of an order. Sealed bids must be submitted in an envelope marked SEALED BID AGGREGATE BID and delivered to the Office of the County Purchasing Agent in Moultrie, Georgia, by 10:00 a.m. on October 14, 2026. The procurement process is managed by County Purchasing Agent Lena Mercer and Public Works Superintendent Stan Kirksey. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any formalities during the award process.
