208453 Request for Bids - UW Tower Elevator Modernization

Project Description: The project includes the following work: Full modernization of nine (9) electric traction passenger elevators including one (1) 23-stop gearless overhead traction elevator and five (5) 20-stop gearless overhead traction elevators serving a high-rise tower, as well as three (3) 5-stop geared overhead traction elevators serving the other buildings in the UW Tower complex. The project also includes associated Electrical and Mechanical improvements to bring power, lighting, and machine room temperature control up to current code requirements. It is anticipated that temporary openings in the hoistway wall and ceiling for Elevator 3 will be required in order to move the new elevator equipment into the machine rooms. The scope also includes new pit ladders for Elevators 3, 7, 8, and 9, as well as miscellaneous cutting, patching, and painting related to the scope of work described above.
