The Pennsylvania Game Commission is soliciting proposals for a design professional to lead the renovation of its Headquarters Auditorium in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The project aims to transform the existing space into a modern, multi-functional facility by updating obsolete audio-visual technology to support internal and external live broadcasting, redesigning the stage layout for better functionality, and replacing interior finishes, including flooring, walls, acoustic treatments, and ADA-compliant seating. The selected consultant will be responsible for providing the full design, obtaining necessary permits from the PA Department of Labor and Industry, and developing bid specifications for the construction phase. A critical constraint of this project is the strict six-month construction window from July 1, 2027, to December 31, 2027, during which the facility must remain occupied. Proposals must be submitted electronically via the JAGGAER portal by October 7, 2026. Award selection is based on a scoring matrix evaluating the equitable distribution of contracts, the firm's specific capability and personnel, geographic proximity to the site, and past performance with Public Works. The solicitation also emphasizes participation goals for Small Diverse Businesses and Veteran Business Enterprises.
