WORK LOCATION BASE: NBVC POINT MUGU BUILDING NO.: PM323, PM324 AND 553 ROOM NO.: N/A PARENT WORK ORDER NUMBER: 2. COMMAND NAME (THAT IS USED IN MAXIMO): NAVFAC SW 3. PROJECT TITLE: INSTALL BACKFLOW PREVENTER AT PM323, PM324 AND PM553. 4. IMPACT: Violation of water quality requirements, NOV from Ventura County and contamination of domestic water that runs throughout the base. 5. DETAIL DESCRIPTION OF WORK: 1.0 GENERAL INTENTION The general intent is to repair and make adjustments to the Fire Suppression System by installing backflow preventers to building PM323, PM324 and PM553 at Point Mugu, Port Hueneme. 1.1 SCOPE OF WORK Note: 1. The Scope of Work is a brief description of the task required to perform the operation and/or repair. The PM and/or DM who is assigned to this project is responsible for developing the Statement of Work and further details to include listing applicable specification associated with the construction of this project. 2. Any changes to the Scope of Work will be the responsibility of the assigned PM/DM to update the SAR and any associated document. This Scope of Work is a general instruction that may cover some of the equipment, tools, labors and materials necessary to perform the operation to repair manhole MNH22D7on Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC), Point Mugu, California.
