PW WIB FORM 1. WORK LOCATION BASE: NBVC Port Hueneme BUILDING NO.: PH 541 ROOM NO.: N/A PARENT WORK ORDER NUMBER: 2. COMMAND NAME (THAT IS USED IN MAXIMO): NAWCWD 3. PROJECT TITLE: EB400024 PH541 RESKIN AND REPLACE ROOF 4. IMPACT: PH541 was built on July 1943. It has a current condition code of 37 (Red). PTMO is using PH 541 in support of Seaborne Targets mission. This building has numerous water intrusion issues during the rainy season which causes work stoppages. This project will prevent risk of damage to the stored parts inventory and address the safety concern of personnel working on equipment as well as personnel walking on wet floors. 5. DETAIL DESCRIPTION OF WORK: • Design replacement standing seam roof covering IAW current building codes; roof size approx. 12,276sq ft • Demolition and disposal of existing roof covering; to include HAZMAT abatement (as needed) • Inspection of all roof system supporting structure; repair or replace as necessary • Removal and disposal of building exterior siding panels and 35 windows • Removal and disposal of 13 exterior doors • Removal and disposal of current roof access ladder • Removal of existing antennas on the roof • Removal and replacement of mezzanine railings; materials shall be IAW OSHA standards • Removal of 8 exterior lights around perimeter of the building. o Installation of new energy efficient LED lights will be based on user requirements, current code and “Dark Sky” fixture use based on location in relation to wharf/water • Installation and testing of new roof system to include inspection of all roof supporting structures with repair/replacement as required • Installation and painting of new exterior siding panels, to i ...
