OBJECTIVE: Heavy Duty Forklift
Background Northport VA Medical Center, Environmental Management Service, Grounds Department, is seeking to acquire a large 6,000 lbs. 4-wheel diesel engine operated forklift. The current forklift is beyond economical repair as it is aging and needs constant repairs. Having a new forklift with the capabilities below will make it possible for the Grounds Department to maximize the increasing workload and operations. The proposed forklift is a Sellick SLP 60K4e-4PS, 4WD, Powershift, 4-Speed or equivalent model.

The contractor will have the requested products delivered to Northport VA Medical Center, 70 Middleville Road, Northport, NY 11768. Contractor is responsible for installation of all accessories, pick up, freight, and delivery from point of origin to delivery at the Northport Veteran Affairs Hospital. The machine must be able to be locally maintained by a factory certified repair facility.
