Metro, Metro Venues, and the Zoo particularly, intend to contract with firms capable of providing design ideas, capacity planning, utility analysis, and input on various projects throughout Metro facilities and properties.  The Contractor will be requested to provide a broad range of services primarily directly or through subcontractors.
Disciplines may include but are not limited to:
·         MEPF Engineering
·         Civil Engineering
·         Acoustical Engineering/Consulting
Projects in the queue that may be requested for design services include Campus Utility analysis and capacity planning, Campus wide Energy and material balances, general commercial space planning and design (including but not limited to: office spaces, restrooms, offices and conference rooms, kitchen spaces, infrastructure replacements), and acoustical consulting for construction, building treatments, and animal comfort. Additional design services will be initiated by Metro as funding and timing are available.

Proposal Writing Coaching for Small Businesses: For this RFP, Metro offers free coaching for interested small businesses. Firms must state that they’re a small business owner. The coaching will be done by a contractor of Metro’s choice. The coaching will be a 30 – 60 minute session about writing a proposal in general. Any interested small firms must communicate that interest by 2:00 pm on August 25, 2026 to bidsandproposals@oregonmetro.gov. Metro staff will be in touch to connect you with the contractor for scheduling.
