The solicitation process is expected to begin around April 11, 2003, and only written or faxed requests submitted directly to the identified contractor contact will be accepted. This procurement is conducted under a limited source justification, indicating that the required equipment can only be provided by one or a few responsible sources, with the government reserving the right to negotiate without full competition. While this notice is not a solicitation for competitive proposals, all timely responses will be considered to determine if competition is feasible. Interested bidders must have appropriate security clearances and be certified by the Defense Logistics Services Center, providing approved certification documentation with their submissions.
