The Department of Veterans Affairs, through the Prescott Healthcare System, is seeking information on potential sources capable of providing the Hamilton-MR1 Transport Ventilator, a specialized MRI-compatible mechanical ventilator used to support patients during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in high-field MRI environments. The requirement specifies a brand-name or equal product with exact technical parameters, including MR-conditional certification for 1.5T and 3T scanners, a portable design weighing approximately 6.8 kg, turbine-driven operation without external air, support for neonatal to adult patients with tidal volumes as low as 2 mL, and a comprehensive set of ventilation modes including ASV®, NIV, DuoPAP, and APRV. The system must include a touchscreen interface, advanced safety monitoring, and an 8–9 hour battery life with dual lithium-ion cells. The solicitation seeks one unit of the full Hamilton-MR1 package along with optional applications, a battery calibrator, and related accessories, all of which must be listed on a vendor’s FSS contract. The VA is particularly interested in identifying small business categories such as VOSB, SDVOSB, 8(a), HUBZone, and small disadvantaged firms, as it may set aside future procurement under 38 U.S.C. §8127 if sufficient certified vendors are identified. Responses must include company details, business size certifications, confirmation of FSS contract status, manufacturer status, and Buy American Act compliance with full disclosure of country of origin for all components. The Government explicitly requests information on any domestically manufactured alternatives to the Hamilton-MR1, including product description and origin, and requires vendors to disclose any affiliated companies operating under the same or related NAICS code 334510. All submissions are strictly for market research and planning purposes and do not constitute a solicitation or binding commitment; no awards will be made based on this response. The deadline for submissions is August 4th, 2026, and inquiries must be submitted in writing via email to the designated Contract Specialist. Future solicitations, should one be issued, will be publicly announced on SAM.gov or GSA eBuy, and separate responses will be required at that time.
