NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD - SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Army Contracting Command Orlando has a requirement to procure Digital Combat Medic Cards and Million Hearts products for the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Simulation Learning, Education and Research Network (SimLEARN) and Resuscitation Education Initiative (REdI) Program. The anticipated requirement North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541511 Custom Computer Programming Services. It is anticipated that the contract type will be a single award Firm Fixed Price (FFP). ACQUISITION APPROACH: PM MedSim intends to make an award to the University of Central Florida (UCF) Institute for Simulation and Training (IST). This contract will be issued on a Sole Source basis In Accordance With (IAW) FAR 6.302-1, quote mark Only one awardee is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality needed because the supplies or services ordered are unique and highly specialized. quote mark QUANTITIES: This requirement is to purchase the following items: Estimated dollar award value is $139,500.
