70.26.03-01 RFP - RMTS - CONDITION ASSESSMENTS (2026) ENGINEERING SERVICES

The Capital Regional District (“CRD”) invites detailed proposals from proponents (the Proponents) in strictaccordance with these Proposal Documents. The proposals will be evaluated for the selection of a preferredproponent with the intent to negotiate to enter into a contract (the “Contract”) to provide the servicesdescribed in Appendix “A”.The Capital Regional District (CRD), hereinafter referred to as the CRD”, invites Proposals for thecompletion of comprehensive Building Condition Assessments (BCAs) for the Royal Theatre and theMcPherson Playhouse.The CRD reserves the right to award in whole or in part. Proponents may be awarded additional follow-onwork without a further competition.A Contract will not necessarily result from this Request for Proposal (“RFP”).The services described in Appendix “A” must be completed by September 1, 2026 or within 100 DAYS ofcontract award. The contract associated with this work has a liquidated damages clause for delay thatvendors should familiarize themselves with.All inquiries related to this RFP, including whether or not the Contract has been awarded, should be directedin writing to the person named below (the “CRD Representative”).
