AI Contract Overview

The contract involves a sole source acquisition with Streem Communications, LLC for the procurement of a Streem Center 8 Port System (STR-SC-4008-02) equipped with a Dell High Performance Server. The package includes voice/fax analog hardware, the Streem Center Version 5.20 Server Software, and application modules such as fax on demand, an upgraded version of four custom workflows, and a broadcast fax module. Additionally, the contract covers on-site installation, one day of administrative training, a maintenance and support plan, and credit for the trade-in of an existing system. The sole source justification centers on the need to integrate seamlessly with the current system already in place. This notice of intent clarifies that the Government plans to negotiate with only this single source but invites other interested parties to express their capability or submit proposals by the closing date. It emphasizes that this notice is not a formal request for proposals, and any decision to move forward without competition remains solely at the Government’s discretion. Responses will primarily be used to decide whether a competitive procurement process should be pursued, underscoring the unique nature of the equipment and software integration as the rationale for the sole source approach.
