70 -- Storage Area Network EMC Clariion CX700 with migration

The Defense Distribution Depot (DDC) located in New Cumberland, PA has a requirement for EMC Clariion CX700 storage device with 27TB of raw storage as listed on the attachment: The EMC Equipment is required because market research indicates that other companies similar products, or products lacking the particular feature, do not meet or cannot be modified to meet the agency's needs. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation for commercial items; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. This acquisition is unrestricted. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 423430 and the small business size standard is 500 employees.
