The U.S. Department of Energy’s Energy Information Administration (EIA) plans to issue a sole source contract to Bloomberg Finance L.P. under the Federal Acquisition Regulation, citing that only Bloomberg can meet the agency’s specific requirements. This contract covers the renewal support for Bloomberg Anywhere and Physical Terminal Licenses, which are essential for EIA analysts to access industry-standard broker/dealer data and tools not available from any other vendor.
