Holmes Western Oil Corporation is authorized by the California Department of Conservation, Geologic Energy Management Division to rework the Canadian 18 well, API number 0401925529, located in the Jacalitos Oil Field in Fresno County, California. The project involves the reconstruction of the casing and wellbores on existing pads and is expected to be completed over a three day period during the summer season. All activities will be contained within existing facilities with no new construction or expansion of former use required. The operation will utilize temporary equipment including a production rig, rig pump, cement truck, wireline truck, bins, shaker, storage tank, and tubing, along with vehicles for personnel transport, supply delivery, and waste removal. This project has been granted a California Environmental Quality Act exemption under categories for existing facilities, replacement or reconstruction, and minor alterations to land, as it was determined that the work will not result in significant adverse environmental impacts.
