Sandia National Laboratory has developed advanced software designed for simulating analog electronic circuits, incorporating schematic capture, simulation, and post-processing analysis capabilities. The simulation module is primarily based on enhanced SPICE technology with specific improvements aimed at efficiently handling large-scale circuits, a key focus of Sandia's design approach. The software is intended for engineers involved in creating new electronic designs or modifying and testing existing ones, providing a graphical interface to input designs, analyze performance, and iterate to optimize or evaluate potential failures. Sandia is actively seeking partnerships to commercialize this technology and invites interested parties to respond via mail or fax within two weeks. Correspondence should include reference details of this notice, market/application interests, and the preferred type of partnering agreement, such as licensing, cooperative research and development agreements (CRADA), or work-for-others (WFO) arrangements. This initiative offers a valuable opportunity for companies or institutions looking to leverage Sandia's innovations in electronic circuit simulation for enhanced design and testing capabilities.

Full Description

Sandia National Laboratory has developed software designed to perform simulation of analog electronic circuits. The software consists of schematic capture, simulation, and post processing analysis components. The simulation component is based largely on SPICE technology and contains enhancements for features of interest to Sandia, mainly targeted at simulating large circuits. The other components are Sandia designed and developed with the same emphasis of simulating large circuits. This software is intended for engineers working to develop new electronic designs and to test modifications of existing designs. The software allows engineers to graphically enter a design, analyze the behavior of the design, and modify the design to iterate toward an optimal design. It can also be used to characterize existing designs and analyze how these might fail if modified. Sandia is seeking partnerships to commercialize this technology. For further information, please respond by mail or fax (no phone calls, please!)to Alane Dulski within two weeks at: Sandia National laboratories, MS 0115, P.O. Box 5800, Albuquerque, NM 87185-0115; fax +1 (555) 000-0000. Please indicate in your response the date and title of this notice, the markets/application areas of interest, and the type of partnering agreement (license, CRADA, WFO, etc.)your company/institution would be interested in entering into with Sandia (more information on partnering with Sandia can be found at www.sandia.gov).
