Acquisition By Lease - NC State University - DASA/TRIO Programs

North Carolina State University is seeking proposals to lease approximately 3,000 square feet of turnkey office space in Raleigh, NC, for the DASA TRIO Programs division. The required space must be located within a 10-mile radius of the main campus and include a reception area, private offices, open workstation space, a 10-seat conference room, a break room, a work/copy room, and storage. The lease is intended for a three-year initial term with two optional one-year renewals, with a required commencement date of July 2027. On-site parking is mandatory, and the facility must be completely free of hazardous asbestos and lead paint. Proposals must be submitted via the eVP portal and include a scaled floor plan and the university's standard space lease form. The space must comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, OSHA provisions for the handicapped, and State Building Code Volumes I-V. Additionally, the university requires that rental rates do not include indeterminable percentage increases, such as uncapped CPI increases, during the initial term or any renewal periods. The university also supports the use of recycled materials in construction and requires facilities for handling recyclable materials.
