Amoruso Ranch Project

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed a five-year extension of Streambed Alteration Agreement Notification Number 1600-2018-0243-R2 for the project applicant, Brookfield Sunset, LLC. This agreement is a component of the Amoruso Ranch Specific Plan, a 694-acre mixed-use development located in Placer County, California, specifically within the boundaries of University Creek and its tributaries. The extended term is set to expire on August 6, 2030. The scope of work under this agreement includes the construction of the Westbrook Boulevard arch culvert and wingwalls, the western University Creek stormwater drainage channel and outfall, a one-lane maintenance crossing of University Creek, and the eastern University Creek bioswale and outfall structure. Additionally, the project covers mass grading and fill of stream and wetland features. The City of Roseville serves as the lead agency, and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife has determined that the project will not have a significant environmental effect within its jurisdiction, provided that specific mitigation measures are implemented as a condition of approval.
