Amoruso Ranch Project

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has extended the Streambed Alteration Agreement for the Amoruso Ranch Project through August 6, 2030, under section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code, authorizing Brookfield Sunset, LLC to proceed with specific infrastructure and land modification activities within designated waterways. The project, part of a larger 694-acre mixed-use development near Roseville, includes construction of an arch culvert and wingwalls for Westbrook Boulevard, stormwater drainage channels and outfalls along University Creek, a one-lane maintenance crossing, a bioswale with outfall structure, and mass grading and fill operations impacting stream and wetland areas. This extension ensures the applicant remains in compliance with state environmental regulations while advancing development objectives tied to the Amoruso Ranch Specific Plan. Primary oversight and coordination are managed by the City of Roseville, with direct contact through Jessica Lynch, and environmental compliance monitored by Patrick Moeszinger of the California Department of Fish and Wildlife.
